Fajr Petrochemical Company awarded golden statue for Social Responsibility
Fajr Petrochemical Company, as the only petrochemical industrial company in Iran was awarded a golden statue for the best Social Responsibility Report of the 3rd Forum of Social Responsibility in the oil industry .

 

As Public Relations Department of Fajr Petrochemical Company reported, the company could win the golden statue in "The Third Forum of Social Responsibility in Oil Industry".  

The company had already been introduced as the top company in the field of “Global Reporting Initiative” and was finally awarded here on Wednesday July 19, 2017 , the golden plaque at the 3rd or the last day of the forum .

The social responsibility report is the second of the type which has recently been compiled and published by Fajr Petrochemical Company , and it is the second time that the company is participating in such a national forum .

This framework to prepare an integrated corporate reporting on the social responsibility under the title of “The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)” is a new form of reporting about the sustainability of the companies, businesses, governmental institutions and other organizations, the one which has formerly been initiated by a leading international organization under the very same name . This kind of reporting is nowadays used by many companies and institutions all over the world in order to understand and communicate its impacts on issues such as climate change, human rights and corruption .

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), on the other hand, reflects some business ethics and the role of the companies and organizations in the social, economic, and environmental fields . This kind of responsibility covers the ethical obligations of the companies or organizations towards the (domestic and foreign) stakeholders .
